Starting you own handmade bead care labels Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

Starting you own handmade bead care labels can be an exciting and fun adventure, but it can also be frustrating when you work so hard and attend your first craft show only to find a dozen other more experienced jewelry artists all working at the same show and vying for the attention of the same audience.

Lots of bead jewelry artists give up after they spend all their time and money making traditional jewelry pieces and don't sell many items at their first few craft fairs or flea markets.  That's a shame because once you've mastered some of the basic skills of making jewelry then you've got a business that can grow in a number of different directions.

You need to learn to set your business apart from other bead jewelry artists even if your jewelry making skills are not yet fully developed.  One of the best ways to garner attention at a craft show filled with other tables selling handmade jewelry is to create useful items that are not always thought of as jewelry.  Sure, you will probably still want to offer the traditional beaded necklaces and bead bracelets and gemstone earrings that everyone else does, but you'll also want to have some eye-catching pieces that make people stop at your table to learn more about what they see from a distance.  Here are two great examples:

Beaded Bookmarks - When you think of a bookmark you may think of them being made out of traditional materials such as paper and leather.  You can, however, make some amazing bookmarks using a few simple beading skills and supplies and a little bit of imagination.  A lot of people who shop at craft shows are also heavy readers so creating something that is both useful and beautiful at the same time is always a great way to pull people over to your table.  Shepherd hook bookmarks are flat metal hooks that are decorated with a beading design of your choice.  They have a nice heft to them and they really catch people's eye when you have a long line of them displayed at your craft show table.  You can also make beaded ribbon bookmarks if you're looking for something easy and fast to make.

Beaded Eyeglass Holders - If you need reading glasses then you know how useful it is to use a corded eyeglass holder so that you can hang your glasses around your neck for easy accessibility.  Why not spice up those old dull corded strands with some beads?  You can make them in various lengths and with lots of different styles and colors to fit every audience.  Be sure to use beads or materials that are comfortable when laying against the back of the neck.

These are just some of the many different projects you can create with the skills you've developed by learning how to make your own jewelry.  Once you've learned the basics don't be afraid to experiement with different ideas.  With a little creativity and luck your table may just be the hit of the craft show!

The phosphorescence of the diamond comes from boron present Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

A large 45.52 carat, fancy deep Woven label, housed in Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington D.C. the Hope Diamond is legendary for the curse it puts on whomever possesses it. The diamond appears blue to the naked eye due to the presence of small traces of boron within it. It exhibits a red phosphorescence under ultraviolet light. When exposed to ultraviolet light the diamond glows a mysterious red.

The phosphorescence of the diamond comes from boron present in the stone, an element that makes it appear blue in normal light and red when exposed to ultraviolet light indicating a different mix of nitrogen with boron. Historians believe that the diamond was cut from a larger gem that was first found in India. The diamond is thought as an historic gem and is considered as a rare scientific specimen that has an ability to provide vital insights into our knowledge of diamonds and their formation.

The deep blue diamond is the centerpiece of gem collection at the Natural Museum of Natural History. The hope diamond is the most powerful jewel on display. It is described as fancy dark grayish-blue. The stone exhibits an unusually intense and strongly-coloured type of luminescence; after exposure to long-wave ultraviolet light, the diamond produces a brilliant red phosphorescence that persists for some time after the light source has been switched off. The diamond is believed to be a part of the stolen French Blue crown jewel. The diamond is believed to be cursed. The diamond was stolen from a Hindu statue. It was believed to be one of the two eyes of the idol, and when the diamond was found missing a curse was placed on whoever owned the diamond. The legend claimed that Tavernier had died of the fever soon after he owned the diamond. The diamond was also blamed for the fall from the kings favor of madame, the beheadings of Louis XVI, mutilation and beheading of the Princesse de Lamballe.

Some may consider these characters as fictitious, but the history still remains unverified. A diamond cutter Wilhelm Fals was killed after his son Hendrik had stolen the diamond. There are many such instances which prove that the owner of the diamond had met their misfortune either by death or being broken financially. Even with its curse the stone came to be known as blue diamond of the crown or the French blue. The diamond was set in the gold and suspended on a neck ribbon for the King to wear on special ceremonial occasions. The diamond was claimed to be owned by many. Finally it was donated to Smithsonian by jeweler Harry Winston, the now 45.52 carat gem stone is the worlds largest  blue diamond.

Acetate taffeta we say fast food Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

In the Philippines, Acetate taffeta we say fast food, we say Jollibee Philippine. Among all the fast food chains here in the Philippines, Jollibee Philippine is considered to be the most popular choice of fast food among the Filipinos here and in the abroad.
The Jollibee Philippine has been serving us with their delectable collection of fast food such as the Chickenjoy and Yumburger, but what else do you know about the Jollibee Philippine? Where or when did it start? And who was the genius in starting the largest food corporation in the Philippines that expanded onto some of the largest countries in the world.
As far as we can remember, the Jollibee Philippine provides us with the most delectable fast-food foods, but did you know that the Jollibee Philippine did not start on selling hamburgers or chickens, it started as an ice cream parlor at Cubao in 1975 with Jolibe as the original name.
But after sometime, they decided on getting the services of a management consultant in the person of Manuel C. Lumba. Lumba suggested that to shift their business of ice cream parlor to hamburgers after his studies showed that a much larger market was waiting to get tapped.
And sure enough, their hamburgers became a hit for a lot of Filipinos. After this success, Lumba next reformed the name Jolibe to Jolly Bee and made the two words form a single name Jollibee. Then Lumba next created the product name "Yumburger" as well as the name "Chickenjoy".
The stores were re-designed, the service transformed into a full self-service, fast food operation with drive thrus. Not long after, Tony Tan and Manny Lumba went on an observation tour in the United States, attended food service and equipment conventions. Tony Tan put Manny Lumba on center stage by putting him in charge of franchise development.
The Jollibee Philippine have gotten so big that they have decided on incorporating some expansions and acquisitions on other fast-food restaurants. On 2000, the Jollibee Philippine acquired Chowking, allowing Jollibee to be part of the oriental quick service restaurant segment. Similarly, Jollibee Philippine also acquired Red Ribbon Bakeshop on 2005, another popular fast-food restaurant in the Philippines. In 2006, Jollibee Philippine acquired the Dlifrance which further expanded its penetration in the food service industry particularly in the French cafe-bakery, a growing segment of the Philippine food market.
Thats about it, but if you want to know more about the Jollibee Philippine products then visit www.expressregalo.com.

Window coverings can lower your Hot-melt ribbon Alerter l'administrateur Recommander à un ami Lien de l'article

Window coverings can lower your Hot-melt ribbon and cooling bills, give you privacy and block harmful rays from the sun  even the sheerest draperies will give your furniture some insurance against fading.

Window Coverings are drapery panels, curtains, blinds, shutters, shades, louvers  they literally cover the window. They come in any fabric, color and style you can imagine. There are many options to accessorize your window coverings: curtain rods, tiebacks, hold backs, valances, tassels  all available in whatever decorating style you prefer! This article will explain what these accessories are and how they can be used.

Curtain Rods  the most familiar form for holding curtains and draperies in place. Some styles are purely functional, but many today are designed to be part of your windows decorating scheme. The materials are varied: they are made from wood, plastics and metals, and available in colors that will fit your room, and are available in single and double rod styles.

Tiebacks are used on hanging curtains and draperies, usually to hold them to a side of the window, but can also tie a panel in the middle of an expanse of glass. Some tiebacks are attached to a hook on the wall behind the curtain; others are simply tied around the curtain. Like the hold back, a tieback can be invisible when not in use.

Hold backs are U-shaped pieces of metal that anchor to your wall. The open top of the U faces away from the drapery, which can then be nestled into the body of the U. When not in use the hold back is hidden behind the curtain.

Valances are a great window accessory  they often serve to give your window decoration that finished look and easily reinforce your decorating scheme. A valance can be made of the same fabric as your window covering, or you can choose a coordinating color. How about a contrasting color to liven things up?

Tassels can fancy up a window in no time! They are often used on valances and tiebacks to add instant elegance. You can also get tassels on pillows and chair ties, and theyre combined with a wide variety of materials: beads, cording, ribbon, fringes, lace and even buttons!

This not-anywhere-near exhaustive list of window covering descriptions is just the beginning to discovering the exciting opportunities available for your homes windows. So when it comes to your window coverings, get ready to hang it up  and close it!
